Privacy Policy for Coin of Ages

Short version: Coin of Ages collects no personal data. All game progress is stored locally on your device. The game sends a small number of anonymous gameplay milestones (era reached, prestige) to Google Analytics to help us understand player progression. No advertising networks are used.

Overview

Coin of Ages ("the game", "the app") is a single-player idle game developed as an independent title. This policy explains what data the game does and does not collect.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. Coin of Ages does not collect, transmit, or share:

Your name, email address, or contact information
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Location data
Purchase history (the game has no in-app purchases)
Any other personally identifiable information

Anonymous Gameplay Analytics

To help us understand how players progress through the game and improve balance and pacing, Coin of Ages sends a small number of anonymous gameplay milestone events to Google Analytics 4.

What is sent:

The event name (for example, era_reached or prestige)
The era number associated with the event
A randomly-generated install ID that is created on first launch and stored locally — it is not your device ID, your advertising ID, or linked to any account

What is not sent: your name, email, device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, contact information, or any content you create. We do not log or store IP addresses on our end; any transient network-level information is handled by Google Analytics per their policy.

These events are fire-and-forget: failures are silently dropped and never affect gameplay. If you reset progress or uninstall the game, the install ID is regenerated on next launch. Data sent to Google Analytics is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Local Save Data

Coin of Ages saves your game progress locally on your device. This save file contains:

Your current era, currency balance, and upgrade state
Prestige count and relic collection
Audio and haptic preferences
Timestamps used to calculate offline earnings

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server and is not accessible to us.

To delete your save data: Use the "Reset Progress" option in the Settings panel within the game, or uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

Coin of Ages uses Google Analytics 4 to receive the anonymous gameplay milestone events described above. We do not integrate with any advertising, social media, or other data collection services.

Children

Coin of Ages does not knowingly collect information from children. As the game collects no personal data from any user, no special handling for children is required beyond this statement.

Changes to This Policy

If we add features in future versions that involve data collection (such as optional cloud save or analytics), this policy will be updated and users will be notified via an in-app notice before any new data collection begins.
